What is a home inspection?

A Home Inspection is the visual assessment of all accessible areas of the house’s interior and exterior. No home is perfect, even new ones, but the good thing is that all problems have solutions!  Any defects we find will be included in our inspection report, arming you with the knowledge you need to have the right repairs made and to make informed decisions about buying or selling the property.

Why a Home Inspection:

An Inspectix Home Inspection is the visual assessment of all accessible areas of the house’s interior and exterior. No home is perfect, even new ones, but knowing what the issues are allows you to have them addressed and move in with peace of mind!
Home inspections shouldn’t be looked at to find out just what’s wrong with a home, it’s great to know what’s right too. Knowing the condition of the roof, the amount insulation in the attic, that all the windows are in good operating condition, that the appliances work as they should…the list goes on. Just as important is knowing what you as a homeowner will need to do to maintain your new home. From ensuring that proper backfill is in place, to understanding the sprinkler system and down to knowing how to change the furnace filters, it’s all important AND it’s all part of an Inspectix Home Inspection.

Buying a Brand New Home?

Ensure you’re getting what you are paying for! A home inspection on a brand new construction home is a perfect way to protect your money and your peace of mind! Yes, our market has many great builders, but they all work with sub-contractors. Homes are built by people just like you and me, and we are all capable of mistakes or over-looking things. We’ve performed inspections on homes that were only a few years old and found things such as areas of roofs that weren’t shingled, plumbing lines not connected, outlets without wiring, missing flashing, and even entire attics without insulation. A home inspection simply helps you have these or any potential issue addressed prior to closing, saving you time and money later.

Why to ALWAYS get a Home Inspection:

In a robust real estate market, foregoing a home inspection is sometimes considered. It’s your money but most importantly, it’s your family that will be moving into this home, ensure that it’s safe for them. Skipping a home inspection on a home you’re looking to buy because there’s multiple offers can expose you to potentially major expenses once you move in, this isn’t good but you can overcome it. You cannot though overcome the injury or worse of a loved one because of a safety related item that may have been detected by a home inspection, but you chose not to do one. You don’t have to select Inspectix Home Inspections, but please use good judgement and protect your loved ones, ALWAYS get a home inspection.
